Children and Adult Psychotherapy

Welcome

Taking the step to search for a therapist, whatever the reason, can be challenging. I am so glad you made your way here and want to join you in your search for finding the best fit for your needs.

I offer an attuned, non-judgmental space for you and/or your family to explore and gain greater insight into yourself. We’ll explore how your history may be influencing your present, and together, we’ll work toward shifting patterns that no longer serve you.

My style is flexible, curious, and collaborative. I aim to create a space where you can deepen self-awareness, stay action-oriented toward change, and reconnect with your values and goals. I also integrate body awareness and in-the-moment presence through Somatic Experiencing principles, a modality I’m currently training in.

I specialize in working with adolescents, adults and families in the midst of developmental transitions and significant life events. I am passionate about working with those who have been impacted by developmental or complex trauma, mood and/or anxiety symptoms and challenges in relationships.

About Rebecca

With over 20 years in the mental health field, I’ve had the privilege of working in a wide range of settings — from hospitals and schools to residential treatment centers and intensive outpatient programs. I’ve worked with individuals across the lifespan, from preschoolers to older adults, providing therapy and supervision for clients navigating complex trauma, mood and thought disorders, and addiction.

I’m deeply committed to working within a social justice framework and believe in creating a therapeutic space that affirms all aspects of one’s identity. Whether you’re navigating trauma, mood struggles, anxiety, or relationships, I aim to offer a safe, inclusive space where you can feel heard, understood, and valued.

My approach is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and connection. I take a collaborative approach to therapy, centering your voice and lived experiences at every step. I primarily work from a relationally focused, somatic, and psychodynamic perspective. This means that, in our work together, we’ll explore not just your thoughts and emotions but also how your body experiences and expresses these things.

I’m currently in my final year of training to become a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, which enriches my practice by integrating body awareness and in-the-moment presence into our work.
